Aylesbury Heritage Trail - Town Walk

Embark on a journey through historic Aylesbury, a celebrated county town since 1725. Our enchanting trail winds through the medieval heart of this former market town, where prosperity and tradition blend in beautifully preserved streets and buildings.

Follow us along charming Pebble Lane, through historic St Mary’s Square, and past the fascinating architecture of Church Street and Parson’s Fee. Here, each historic house tells its own unique story, from bustling market days to quiet residential elegance.

Along our carefully crafted route, you’ll discover the town’s most captivating landmarks and uncover the rich heritage that has shaped Aylesbury from a thriving market town into the vibrant county town we see today.

This walk covers a route, which is about 1.5 miles long (2.5 km). It should take you about 2 hours of walking to complete.
